CREATIVE DESIGN BEADING WORKSHOP

There are no kits for this class, as I will be showing you how to design with what YOU have in YOUR studio. Starting with a foundation that has grids for placement, we will audition what you have on hand to create something unique and exquisite, but most importantly all your design. After deciding on placement, I will show and have written instructions of multiple bead embroidery techniques such as caging a cabochon with peyote and embellishing stitches that give depth and dimension, and filling stitches. I do ask that you have several different colors of size 11 Delicas (I will have some for you to use. Usually two different colors will work as this is how I do the peyote caging successfully). Along with assorted shaped beads (such as firepolish or Czech pressed shapes), please have a small assortment of size 8, 11 and 15 seed beads. I will have some for you to use. I also suggest to make sure you have at least one focal cabochon or button, pearls, crystals, and anything else you have or want to use. I will bring an assortment of all also for you to use. Along with that, I will have some crystal cup chain, foundation, and backing fabric.

Be prepared to throw caution to the wind, relax and create something truly your own.
